The Whistle Stop opened its doors in 1958 and quickly became a staple in the East Pennsboro community. Now, 60 years later, the Whistle Stop is still a summertime favorite for ice cream and food.

Kristy’s Whistle Stop has been owned and operated by Kristy Magaro and her family for  15 years. At the beginning, Kristy, her mom, her cousin, and a handful of family friends were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop. Now, the staff has grown to over 30 employees, all considered family.
